She also is finally sure why she's so uncomfortable in her skin, and wants nothing more than to be her truest self, whatever form that may take. She knows her body was warped to a degree by her parents' attempts to cure him and she worries on occasion that her mutation has been weakened by their meddling and that she will never truly be the mutant she was meant to be. She owns both their manifestos and has read them to the point of being able to quote them from memoryĪt her core, Nomad is a philosophical sort who cares deeply about her fellow mutants and hates being plagued with her brittle bones and other health issues. She's fairly optimistic, despite everything, and finally to chose a side in the mutant war because she was finally sure who's right, Magneto or Summers. She finally came out as trans and knows she's a woman and a mutant, not a guy. He doesn't like physical contact or to be called her deadname at all, preferring to be called by her two mutant names instead. She likes people, she goes out of her way to help them and has built a sort of reputation amongst mutants around the places she's travelled to as a road warrior of sorts, a nomadic mechanic who runs mutants to the border or to places where they'll be safe.
Personality: Nomad is friendly, exuberant and deeply uncomfortable in her own skin. She has a raspy albeit cheery voice and peppers her words with profanity, regardless of the situation. Never without a cigarette or a beer, Nomad often deals with her world through substances, and her teeth are tobacco stained from her constant smoking. She's not overly tall, though part of that is due to her atrocious posture, and she is often plagued with the hacking cough of the chainsmoker. She's bald, though hair is growing back slowly and she has blue eyes.
